Free Breakfast at Denny's

Yes, we did wake up at 4:30 in the morning to go to Denny's and get their free Grand Slam breakfast. For my family of six it was well worth it. Plus the kids thought of it as something fun and could not wait to get up early and go! We left a good tip and our savings for today (so far) is around $40. A blessed breakfast!

My trip to CVS

I had coupons for all but one item that I bought. The Pantne was on sale 2/$7.00 used MC -$2.00; The Venus Embrace razor $9.00 used MC -$2.00 plus MC for the Olay body wash($7.49)making it free with the purchase of the Venus Razor; Gillette body wash $4.00 used MC -$2.00. Dryer's Ice Cream $3.99. The sub total was $34.98. I gave her my coupons plus my $4.00 off a $20 purchase plus my $10 ECB I earned from my last shopping trip. That brought the total to .99 plus .96tx. Equaling $1.95! I earned $5 ECB's for my next trip because I spent $15 on P&G products. The ice cream was filler so I would go over and not waste my ECB's.

I have by no means arrived and this is only going on week four for even starting this couponing process but it sure is paying off. I thank God for his blessings yet again!

Got Coupons?

I had so much fun when I went shopping this week. Here is what I saved in total for the whole day. I saved $146 just in one day!! In the picture is what I got for FREE! The boxes represent "unmentionables". I didn't realize how modest I really am until I thought of posting a picture of them.

This is what I paid under .59 each for!

I shopped at Raley's where I do not normally shop because I thought I could not afford it. Here I got one of my greatest deals. The orignal price for one of there Bagel Bite are $9.49 each. They were on sale for $7.99. If you bought two and used their instore coupon the price went down to $5.49 each. Then I added my coupons taking $1 off each and brought the price down to $4.49 each! Praise the Lord for that one!!

My other great deal was done at Wal-mart. They marked their toys from Christmas down to $5 each. I got two My Little Pony toys, one orignally marked $16.88 and the other one was $10.88. I had a coupon for MLP B1G1 free. So I spent $2.50 for each one saving $22.76. My daughter's birthday is coming up at the end of the month and she loves MLP. This is just another Blessing from God!!
